Meet Sara
Hi, I’m Sara Williams, founder and CEO of Cliterature, a company dedicated to empowering women through the fusion of literature and self-love because we believe that self-love is self-care—and that self-care is essential to well-being.
Let’s be honest—women’s pleasure has been stigmatized for far too long. Many of us have felt the need to hide our sex toys in drawers, tucked away in shame. But why? Why should something that brings us joy, confidence, and self-discovery be something we feel embarrassed about?
With a degree in writing and a lifelong passion for books, I have always believed in the power of storytelling—both in the literary world and in shaping cultural conversations.
As a staunch advocate for women's rights, I believe that no one should have the authority to dictate what women can or cannot do with their own bodies. I am a firm proponent of self-love and am committed to dismantling the shame often associated with female pleasure.
The idea for Cliterature was born from my desire to create a space where women can celebrate our sexuality without secrecy or embarrassment. The concept of book-shaped boxes for sex toys came to me as a creative solution—allowing women to proudly display our pleasure products rather than hiding them away in a drawer or under the mattress. Through Cliterature, my goal is to rewrite the narrative around female pleasure, one beautifully packaged book at a time.
Join us as we turn the page on shame and start a new chapter—one where pleasure, confidence, and empowerment take center stage.
